2025-2026 offseason thread

As much as we all love to shit on Snit. And I certainly was not a fan. He's not the reason those teams forgot how to hit and the reason Fried and Strider seemingly can't pitch in the playoffs.
While that is somewhat valid, keeping Bryce Friggin Elder in the game during game 3 when he was getting absolutely rocked is 100% a loss on him.

Both can be true. Snit was a net negative and the teams forgot how to play in October those years.

And the year before with Strider coming back from injury and dropping velocity.

Bichette and Dubón would be a lot better than Albies and Dubon but Albies ain't going anywhere next year. Hopefully he rebounds but AA will for sure get another SS. If Cease would have been around the 25-27 per range I think AA would have moved on it but he was smart to not touch 30.

you guys did catch the part where it said IF THE DEAL MADE SENSE.... there is no QO FA that will make sense because the money will be too much for AA to stomach.
Right. So when he doesn’t sign anyone that takes the pick away, he can just say a deal that made sense never materialized. That pick isn’t going anywhere.

AA is saying the rotation is looking a lot better now than it was this time last year and is not as urgent. Dude is so annoying.

I agree... Just don't see them giving that pool money away for any of the FA out there and I also don't see them giving out the contracts that those FA's are going to command.
