I figured AA would have at least done something during the meetings. Hopefully he had some good convos that just didn't get done before they left.

Not me. He literally never makes an impactful move during the Winter Meetings. If anything, it'll be a few days after.

That said, it's frustrating he's being so damn reserved. Just make a move to improve the team.

Crazy rules question. The Baldwin ROY draft pick could be worth a ton on the trade market. Could the Braves package it up in a trade for a really special player, then turn around a sign a high dollar free agent and because the Baldwin ROY draft pick is gone, only lose the 2nd round pick?

Yeah we always hear these deals that almost happened and that's becoming the norm now with AA so I don't get excited about anything anymore till it happens

Yas is a great signing. Surprised it took 2 years. Above average bat vs RH pitching and better defender than Acuna/Profar. Now we just need Miguel Andujar to platoon with him.

Also, Yaz was insane after he was traded to KC.

Either way, spending like $11M on Yaz, $6
5M on Dubón and $16M on Iggy means they have money for sure.
