What continues to frustrate me is the idea that I am to blame for the current situation for tepidly voting for one of the two extremes in the face of an opposition that blindly supports the other extreme.

At various points in my life I've been a Republican, an independent and a Democrat. No party has my allegiance in perpetuity. It seems unlikely, however, that I will be returning to the Republican Party anytime soon. Integrity does matter to me. A great deal. That's why I'm a Democrat these days. The main reason as a matter of fact.

No sensible person thinks the Dems govern effectively.

There are ain't no D Desantis out there. Thats just a pipedream but they have very little to no effective governemtn officials and the only states that run effectively have the highest concentration of white people.

I have not thought about it. But I was rooting strongly for DeSantis in the GOP primary against Trump. I think our country will be better off when non-crazies are able to reassert control of the GOP. It is not a healthy situation to have one of our major parties in the clutches of crazy and incompetent people with little or no integrity.

This is of course not an answer to Sturgs questions as you'd still vote for Waltz over RDS because RDS would continue the deportation of the third world horde.

I'm not a fan of DeSantis. But he is infinitely preferable to Trump.

I'm also not a fan of Walz. But he too is infinitely preferable to Trump.

I'd be very happy with a choice between candidates like DeSantis and Walz.
