Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

Yes, im hung up on what we get.

If an immigrant comes here and simply lives on welfare, are you good with that? Simply bc humanitarian reasons? And if so, is there any limit you would impose in order to not bankrupt us?
There is no limiting principle for them

What fundamentally changed in the democratic party that got us to where they are to do, outside of a bunch of college educated socialists entering into power?

If thats not it, what is? Does mqt and nsacpi believe Clinton, Biden, and even Obama were racist bigots when they held this belief?

I thought our PHD who supposedly is a curious academic might weigh in... but as we all know, hes a fraud and his students are being robbed

There’s three things I’d break with much of the left on for immigration:

1) Everybody here would need to have a job or be a student.

2) Short of pre-agreed upon, short-term support for refugees we take in for a specific reason, I wouldn’t allow for those coming to the country to be able to receive welfare benefits.

3) I’d want local governments to work with federal law enforcement on deporting non-citizens convicted of crimes.

The main issue I have with the “deport everyone right the fuck now” effort is that I don’t think it’s the right way to solve the current issue. If someone came here illegally 20 years ago and is contributing to society, I’d like there to be a path to legal residency. Because those paths don’t exist and we’re instead spending ungodly amounts of money on militarized police forces to roam the country looking for factory and agricultural workers, I don’t see a reasonable path being charted on the issue from either side. It is good to know who the people in this country are and if they’re dangerous, and the left needs to concede that point. But we’re not going to see some sort of tremendous societal benefit to simply rounding up hard-working folks either.

This is the part where people tell you 81% of somali immigrants are on welfare (and the rest of them are possibly involved in a 10B$ ponzi scheme and also fraudulently corralling votes for dems)

I’m aware that immigrants are on welfare. I said I’d break with the left on this. I wouldn’t forcibly remove these people from the country, but I wouldn’t pay them public money either.

If they need welfare and they don't get it what do these people 'do' in the country?

This somewhat reasonable position is so far out of scope with the current democratic party that I frankly dont understand why youre not supporting the Trump administration

The Washington lawmaker thinks Cuba is a good model for us to seek for socialism.

Amazing stuff. Just as crazy as the gender fluid crackpot stuff they tried to shove down our throats for the last 4 years.

Anyone with a brain knows that illegals are voting and that illegals are getting ballots mailed to their home either known to them or not. These ballots are then mixed with legal ballots as quickly as possible so we can’t figure out for sure. Just count the same illegal ballots again and say we are good.
No it doesn't. It means they have a valid ID from the DMV. And someone made an error. If they're on voter rolls or not is a different finding, not that they're on jury rolls.

Its the same data source for population.

You think this was an error 1000's of times over?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Because immigration isn’t a wedge issue for me and Trump has gone to the other extreme on other aspects of immigration. My vote isn’t going to be decided on whether or not the left is doing enough to be fiscally responsible on social programs when both parties spend like drunk sailors anyway.
