2025-2026 offseason thread

His upfront signing bonus is more than half of some team's total payrolls. This is really getting out of hand.

When you add in the tax penalty the dodgers are paying more for Tucker than like all but 12 teams are paying the entire roster. It’s crazy to think about it. They are certainly spending whatever it takes to win, unlike many other teams

Ahh man imagine a fan saying this is not good for the sport! What a loser

The Tucker deal absolutely blows me away. There’s been theorizing about what an impact player in his prime could command if he only sold his prime, and now we know. Those deals from the Mets and dodgers are nothing short of jaw dropping.
Not to beat a dead horse, but signing Kyle Tucker for 60 million cannot be a considered a good deal. 😜

You should have let it sit for 48 hours. This idiot deserves some ridicule

Still waiting for a link to a job rec you have the authority to fill boss man.

You’ll never be able to provide one because you’re a nothing, saggy tits. All this deflection from you to avoid admitting it.

Maybe the will be the straw that kills ManDick. The great commiss has navigated a sport to a sure lock out. Made viewership imposssibke to the point of multiple teams losing tv rights a few months from opening day. Allowed a team to double and triple other teams payroll. Allowed deferral loopholes get exploited over and over. Let Japans superstars sign wherever yet has restrictive draf rules for Latino and American players. Punished an org for something the local government did. The list could go on and on. The worst thing to ever happen to baseball.
