His upfront signing bonus is more than half of some team's total payrolls. This is really getting out of hand.

When you add in the tax penalty the dodgers are paying more for Tucker than like all but 12 teams are paying the entire roster. It’s crazy to think about it. They are certainly spending whatever it takes to win, unlike many other teams

The Tucker deal absolutely blows me away. There’s been theorizing about what an impact player in his prime could command if he only sold his prime, and now we know. Those deals from the Mets and dodgers are nothing short of jaw dropping.
Not to beat a dead horse, but signing Kyle Tucker for 60 million cannot be a considered a good deal. 😜
 
Just a reminder that Yaz and Dubon combined for 4.6 WAR last year and are making a fraction of what Tucker is making and are essentially going to have the same role that Tucker would be doing here.
