REAL FOOTBALL Thread

What woman or man is worth that? He just pissed away millions of dollars and his freedom. I see no way he's not in jail for quite some time even given his celebrity status.

Wait Diggs is playing ?!?

I thought that guy got caught choking a girl out ?

Btw Puth was terrible

The video panning across the soldiers lined up in front of the fighters was bad ass

That was not a very good Super Bowl.
It's fitting that 10 years ago Drake Maye watched Cam Newton shit the bed in the biggest game as he was dominated defensively, only to do it himself. I think once Seattle saw that they didn't need to really air it out they went ultra conservative. Especially with JSN hurt and Gonzalez was sticking to his man like Glue.

I cannot believe the Falcons interviewed McDonald and then said to themselves "No, one of the losingest coaches alive is a much better candidate. We're so smart."

After the Pearce stuff I want the Falcons to rehire Morris and Fontenot just so we can fire them again. The last two years have been an utter disaster.

I believe they interviewed Vrabel as well.

One of the teams said they were blown away by him and tried no to let him leave the building

But yes the Falcons stunk that up to high heaven

I don't think they wanted to come here. We never had a second interview. Asked for one. Never had it. I don't think good coaches were clamoring to come here and work under Terry

Stafford MVP controversy should be over
Nah. Cmc should have been MVP. But it's a QB award. But no other player than him this year was more important to their team. Maye was a better regular season QB than Stafford. He got exposed by a great defense on a big stage. It happened to others. Remember when hall of famer Peyton Manning was destroyed by the legion of boom?

Reports are one of his aggravated battery charges is for hitting the cop with his car. Aggravated battery against a cop in Florida is a minimum of 5 years in prison. Barring some crazy misunderstanding, Pearce has likely played his last game in the NFL.

I'm actually surprised he stayed out of trouble in Tennessee. Before the draft a high school teammate was quoted saying Pearce was crazy and had terrible anger issues. That person seems to have been proven true today.
I mean money buys you a lot of legal defense. I think the girl will likely end up requesting charges involving her to be dropped because is almost always what ends up happening. So then he'll just have to face the police stuff. And those will probably get reduced since he appears to be a first time offender.

It sucks, and he should go to jail for 5-10 years for this. But that's just the way the world works unfortunately.

Maye was nowhere near as good of a regular season QB as Stafford. What in the hell were you watching? Not only did Stafford have significantly better raw stats, but he also played a much tougher schedule. The Patriots regular season schedule was historically easy. Their combined opponent winning percentage was .391.

Maye got absolutely exposed in the playoffs. He did not have a good post-season at all. Super mediocre vs the Chargers and Texans. I won't count Denver against him since they played in a blizzard, but it's pretty sad that Jarrett Stidham had a better line than him despite not throwing an NFL pass in over 2 years. And then the Seahawks made him look worse than Tim Tebow as a QB. I mean dude had 60 total passing yards through 3 quarters in near perfect weather conditions.

Stafford was the correct MVP choice. And no, CMC should not have been MVP.
