I think they should be allowed to eat whatever they want if they pay for it.

Im sorry i dont equate grown men who are required to be strong with 1st graders.

Comparing to school lunches now where the child has parents who could make great food for them.

Maybe we should pay for room and board for military personal families to cook for them while they are fighting overseas

They're getting paid to be in the military with tax free dollars.

Yes I think if they want luxury goods they should spend it.

Ah yes - We can't deliver fine food on the front lines in a battle and therefroe when they are back at base we should continue to feed them rations.

Never claimed to be a budget hawk, I'm a shit stick, I'm here to point out the hypocrisy in people like yourself and thethe who want to cut government waste, and are OK with this.

It's amazing our military managed to win WW2, WW1, Civil War, and all that and didn't eat ribeyes.

Which again, I don't think the average soldier was eating ribeye even on a once per month basis. Average price of ribeye, that amount doesn't cover giving every active duty service member a steak.

A few hundred grand on sushi for the million+ of soldiers we have doesnt get me as upset as $18B for the Quality Learing Center that has no kids

They didn't spend on sushi, they bought sushi prep equipment, that went into someone's house, be it hegseth, a general etc.

Commissaries are grocery stores for our military members and their families, they're quite fascinating.

They're subsidized and ran by the federal government.

Watch this video

We expect our service members to buy groceries and give them a break. I can again virtually guarantee these luxury items aren't going to the average service member outside of when they're at a dinner with a VIP guest like Hegseth, Trump,etc.

Buddy, you know how expensive Prep Tables cost?

You know why they specify sushi is because it's a refrigerated chef table,


Cheap prep tables run at least 1K a pop, if you're getting the shitty ones. I would hazard a guess this is 3-5 units tops.
