He or she doesn't watch many Brave games. This one is over. I be surprised if we get another hit the rest of the way.

I didn't say it was the only reason but you don't sit the hot bat when the back-up catcher and the starter going hasn't been good together.
Well Laird hasnt sucked at the plate today. Offense is not the issue. Santana lost it and I seriously doubt it was Lairds fault.

Agreed. It won't help when you throw meatballs directly over the plate to both Big Papi and Pedroia.

Laird is a very poor pitch framer and he's called a bad game. Not uncommon for him either as he's never been strong in that area.

The biggest part is his inability to get through has taxed the hell out of our bullpen.
I won't disagree with that. However Laird is not the reason Santana threw piss poor pitches in the 5th.

Santana has been bad, but arguing that Laird has not effect with his calls and poor pitch framing makes no sense. He's had a bad game catching plain and simple. But that doesn't mean Santana has been good.

I'm arguing that complaining about Gattis not being in there is just finding something to bitch about. Santana is the only reason we are losing this game. Pitchers shouldn't just crap out like he did. No excuse for it.

Man, that hurts. Miller has been bad too and we just gave him an out on what should've been a double. If we cannot score off him no way we win this game.

That's not all you've argued, but if it were I'd still disagree for the reasons already covered. I do agree that Santana is to blame too, just not totally and I have never said otherwise.
