All that will do is make AA want him even more.Idk, I think it's a 60% chance he's on the IL then
Don’t worry, that will work itself out. I wouldn’t be in such a hurry to cash in all of our new found riches. We actually have some trade chips in the minors all of a sudden. We can't play all of these SS and OF we suddenly have.
No thank you.If you look at the White Sox our old buddy Newk is having a really strong season. Would be a great second LHRP and would be much more affordable than Chapman.
Eovaldi would be my pick. Good arm, post-season experience, good clubhouse presence. He wouldn't be absurdly expensive either.I've always thought Eovaldi would be a great pickup
Is this Walter's fault?
I don't think the Braves medical staff performs any of these procedures. The braves have the worst medical staff in sports except for maybe the grizzlies and saints. They've butchered jiminez's knee like 10 times. Tigers got skubal throwing 2 days after a surgery, and SS#2 and Waldrep will be lucky to ever pitch again with this medical staff

Oh man... and if he stayed healthy during a playoff run for us... they would absolutely lose their shitdeGrom is the dream. Not just because he's an great pitcher, but also because Mets fans would lose their minds.
This your first time seeing a guy moved to the 60 day IL retroactively? He was on the DL the first game of the season... we are about to play game 49. He could be activated anytime after game 60. Just a procedural move that means nothing for Waldrep's health. The braves have the worst medical staff in sports except for maybe the grizzlies and saints. Along a similar vein, would you say that Spencer Strider's only shot at coming back was via the internal brace procedure? It's fair to question what's different now and a few months ago when SS had his operation. Skubal's was the first one performed on a pitcher I believe. Was that option available for SS #2? Was it for the same thing? SS's version may be more of a sure thing. Skubal's was somewhat experimental but I feel like he had a bigger payoff if he can proove he's healthy before the end of the year so it was worth the risk.
Just as another point teams aren’t able to move players to the 60 day IL unless the 40 man roster is full. That’s why Waldrep hadn’t been moved yet. He hasn’t even started his rehab assignment yet so he’s still gonna be out at least a month. This your first time seeing a guy moved to the 60 day IL retroactively? Carp also brings up another good point. The Braves' staff are not doing any of the actual procedures man... those are the same doctors every team uses.
