@KevinMcAlpin: Fredi says Gattis took flips and is feeling much better. He will hit and if he feels good, will start in place of Laird. #Braves

@ajcbraves: #Braves Fredi said La Stella will get opportunity to play on regular basis, Uggla will play when good matchup

Uggla can also pinch hit now and then. I thought he did well in his at bat last night. He could also be Laird's assistant veteran leader.

I think we're getting heavy on veteran leadership and might need some guys who can hit and catch.

Veteran leadership is like pitching. You can't have too much of it. That's why I wish Hinske were back. He looked huge as the Cubs first base coach.

I'm sure he did. He gained five pounds a year for each of his twelve years as a player. Without having to waddle out to home plate and swing a bat every other day, he might weigh 500 pounds in a year or two.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with Android?

Gattis is built to hit in Boston. If he can go, he must.

actually a lot of his HR's are line drive shots that may just hit the wall in Fenway. Might even be singles. Of course Gattis ( and JUp as well) will have no trouble clearing the deeper parts of that ballpark if they get all of one.I like Freddie here, he lofts those opposite field jobs; usually hits it pretty high.
