#52 GDT 5/28: Braves (Floyd) at Red Sox , 7:05

I don't think relief-work suits Wood: all that getting up and down, he just ends up unable to perform.

Might as well let TLS play. He's no worse than what we've been trotting out to 2B so far this year. We'll see how pitchers adjust to him and vice versa.

The lulz. You left him in there when he was getting raked around the yard, and now it's 2 outs, bases empty, and you're bringing in Varvaro.

We've also wasted tons of chances. But Boston was way overdue, and we unfortunately have been the victims. But we have played Bad News Bears-type baseball for most of this series. Not covering bases, not finding flyballs, failing to hit with RISP. If you want to call that luck for Boston, then OK. Outside of a few dink hits by them, we've beat ourselves.

We may get swept. I'm not putting any stock into this series though. We've had some horrible luck and the Red Sox are playing with a giant horseshoe up their collective asses.

I've calmed down a little bit now.

I agree, I'm not either. I know as soon as we leave, they'll return to losing.

Tommy hit the ball well tonight. He needs to be near the top of the order tomorrow.

Hopefully Simmons is back tomorrow. I can't take any more of Pena having multiple ABs in a game.

Fck it I'll say it...

Put his ass at leadoff and drop Heyward down. Give him a chance to drive some guys in.

If our manager can't see that TLS is a top of the order hitter than he is worse than I thought. Please switch TLS and BJ, do it Fredi. And if BJ spouts off about it sit his sorry but for a week. How can a man that has an under 200 avg for a year and 2 months have the nerve to complain I will never understand.
