So I was watching on an iPad in bright sun at Lil Guv's game this aft, and I saw the drop at second in the ninth inning. Said to myself, "Well, he's exactly what we needed offensively, but we can't put up with this **** on defense." I was actually thrilled to hear it was Pena who whiffed in the ninth.

3 of the 4 have been used in long relief before and its only an issue of we are in position to win the game. Plus we know Fredi loves to abuse Avilan so he will probably be available. Even more available if the marlins are getting blown out.

day off Monday and again Thrusday (weird) so bullpen should be normalized soon. Hale and Wood could both go multiple innings today if necessary. My biggest question is who'll get the ninth in a save situation.

Evoldi pitching so we'll probably be losing anyway. We never seem to hit that guy.

I would trust Wood with the game on the line. Hale/Varvaor work pre-8th, SImmons in 8th, Wod 9th.

His name is Shae, Shae Simmons, Kimbrel's twin brother.
 
I forget who it was, but it was sometime when this board first started, someone said they'd rather have Turner than Minor.
Yeahhhh.
Also since there's two Simmons, we can just call Shae Simmons, Shimmons.
