This team is not mentally tough. So what if I am right and we miss the post season. We'd fold like a cheap suit anyway, the Nats will yard us by 5-8 by mid August.

The Nats have a problem. They still have to play US a few times.

Not worried at all.

Not sure how anyone who has watched this team for the past 2 months can be surprised at this point.

We are in either last or next to last in every offensive metric whether it your traditional stats or syber metrics to go along with our leaky bullpen, how were we in 1st is my question.

Im honestly surprised we have been in 1st as long as we have but the Nats havent played well either. However, the Nats will not relinquish 1st because I dont see out offense getting any better we have a lineup full of free swingers from 1-8 and I dont see their hitting philosophy changing anytime soon.

Greg Walker spends most his time planning hunting trips and the only reason he gets away with it is because Freddy Gonzalez spends his games planning how to fry up the critters and eat them.

Are you guys surprised that a poster named Virginia Brave is the one who did this. Probably just like GF his geography made him a Nats fan.

Kind of how I feel because we've been discombobulated thus far this season. All parts aren't clicking at the same time and they still could. In other words, I don't think we're doomed quite yet.

Bullpen problems have been the biggest surprise to me, although Walden being injured again really messed up the preferred usage pattern. I'm not shocked by the offensive problems. La Stella should help, but the big things are Gattis staying healthy, Heyward continuing his upward trend, and Freeman getting back on the rails. Upton the Younger is very solid, but there is little hope for Upton the Elder.

I blame Chip for Freeman's rail problems.

Winning 2 of 3 at Coors is nothing to sniff at. Probably the toughest stadium in the league to play in.

I am starting to get a little bit worried. Ever since the 7 game losing streak they keep ****ting the bed everytime they start to rebound. After the streak ended we swept the cubs, then lose 2/3 to giants and cards, win 3/4 over Brewers amd 2/3 vs rockies, then lose 4 straight to red sox, then sweep marlins, then lose 4/5 vs mariners and dbags. Hopefully we win 3/4 vs rockies but we will probably follow that up with a turd vs the angels. I feel like its just a matter of time before we are under .500. We have gotten a boost from Shae Simmons and La Stella and we are still losing.

I think this team can be the best in the NL. For whatever reason it isn't clicking. They were a damn good team before the losing streak.

LOL.
I think that's a little ridiculous, to be honest. Teams have ups and downs. It is a loooooooooong season. Look at the Cardinals. Look at the Red Sox. Look at the Dodgers this year and last. Now to the reverse, the Brewers and Giants aren't as good as their record shows. They will both fall. Other teams will rise. The Pirates looked awesome for much of the season last year. They're back to their true talent level this year.
