That's the thing, he's already well off. But if Barca says we'd love him to play alongside Iniesta in a very forward position to distribute to Messi and Neymar, the may just do that. That's basically what they wanted to do with Fabregas, but unlike Fabregas Rodriguez can play wide and stretch opponents.
 
Italy done now. They should be playing 10 v 10 after Suarez got hungry, but oh well I'm no Italy fan, although Suarez has made me one today.
 
Godín should have been red carded in the England match. Suarez should be ejected from the tournament. We'll see how it goes but I'm now a huge fan of whomever is playing against that country.
 
I am literally shocked the referee did nothing when suarez very clearly bit the italian defender. He saw the bite mark on the shoulder. He should have sent the player off. He could have at least consulted with the fourth official, the american official. Suarez should be out of the competition and likely should be out of all FIFA soccer for at least a full calendar year.

So James Rodriguez has been man of the tournament so far, anyone disagree? Of course Benzema and Muller could pass him.

Suarez may get a longer ban then that. Depends on the ref by all reports. I say ban him from international play. Twellman wants a lifetime ban from all soccer but I think that's cruel as I think that's up the leagues to decide if he will play on the league level. He should be banned from international play, he's a disgrace to the game.
 
Disappointed my Azzurri are out, but they got what they deserved after sleepwalking through the Costa Rica game.

That's not entirely true though. If we lose to Germany 1-0 andGhana beats Portugal 2-1 they go through on total goals.
