Btw, I wouldn't mind giving Doumit more games but in place of BJ next time with Heyward in center and Justin in right.
Heyward needs to get terrible for a while, though, so Fredi will put him near the top of the order.
My criticisms of Heyward stem from the fact that he just appears that he has "another level" that he's not reaching. I fully understand I might be completely overestimating what he's capable of doing. However, he's strong, athletic, and intelligent. For those reasons, it seems he should be another Mike Trout type of player and he's just not there yet. Believe me, there's no bigger Heyward fan that I am and I want him to be a five tool superstar. Maybe it'll happen; maybe not.
It's the only way he has any value whatsoever. Let's pray it continues.
Would love to see Hale as our 5th starter and Harang as our bullpen long man.
I love Heyward, but i doubt he'll be Mike Trout.
Trout is close to perfect as there is in a baseball player.
He's still young though, only 24.
Might reach his potential, maybe not with the Braves though![]()
I agree. Doumit can be a plus hitter imo with more playing time.
Imagine that. Someone who hits the ball has value.
