How would you know if he wouldn't get touches? OKC has never had a big man that can score inside. Ibaka gets his shots and when Butler/Fisher were in they got shots. KD/RW pass the ball real well but we were a bit devoid of options because we were so star heavy. now the depth of the team is a strong suit.

Bc you know 2 players on the team will have 40+ shots combined. How many are left over?

He's okay, don't really see a future for him in OKC with RW and Reggie....he's an athlete that can't really shoot and is a shoot first PG which is obviously a bad combo. Needs to add weight and muscle, didn't see him a ton but I guess he could end up being a backup PG someday, has a lot of work to do, though.

I think they envision him as Reggies successor if he prices himself out of OKC's projected budget for him. Highlights are misleading but he looks like he has some excellent quickness and ability to finish in traffic. HOpefully he can improve on his shooting.

KD/RW continue to evolve as players. If they see legitimate scoring options on the team they will get them involved. Again, KD/RW are still young and still improve. If Pau is there I would GUARANTEE that they run many sets to get him looks in the post. That only helps the Thunder. IMagine a triangle esque look with KD/RW/Pau? WOW!

Either way, I don't expect Pau to come to OKC.

I would love to watch Pau cry as he gets no touches from Westbrook or Durant.

LOL, OKC has never had a low-post threat who can throw it into the low-block and score. Not to mention Gasol is a great passer, one of the best skilled bigs in basketball.

And Russ was top 5-7 in assists per game, guess it's his fault when he passes to teammates they brick shots lol.

It probably wont happen but Pau would get touches if they got him.

They are going to run the team like the Spurs? That is without a Duncan, Leonard, or Parker.

I didn't say they would be the Spurs just that they will run the team like them. The Hawks/Bobcats are disciples of the Spurs way.

I love how you guys think Durant/Westbrook are going to change their games. They are going to take 50% of the shots, that is a given. (Durant should probably take more than he does)

Pau would disrupt the type of play OKC tries to do. Throwing in the low block is great, but OKC doesn't have cuttters or shooters to exploit that type of play. Gasol is talented, but he's going to cry when he gets 10-12 shots per game.

Lol at thinking Pau is signing in OKC

Lol at thinking Pau is a good fit in OKC

Neither me or thethe said he will sign, i suspect he will sign elsewhere most likely, same with thethe.

But on the point if it happened (it wont), Pau would be a great fit since they have no low-post scorers right now, second biggest flaw next to 3-pt shooting. Not to mention he's a great passer, one of the best passing bigs in the game.

It most likely wont happen but he'd be a great fit.

Why players for OKC are good at cutting to the basket? Which ones are good spot up shooters?

Pau is a horrible fit in OKCs "system"....he's much better suited in the triangle in NY or with Bulls or a team like that.

KD, Russ, Reggie cut to the basket.

Shooters, they dont have many lol.

KD, Russ, and Reggie cut to the basket without the ball? really? Who passes the ball to them? Why do the stats show Durant mainly shooting jumpers with an occasional drive to the basket in transition?

What skilled big men have they had to utilize those skills?

What tells you this is a skill they can do?

Well I have my doubts that KD can do it because he doesn't have great acceleration but I've seen RW cut many times successfully and I fully believe Reggie is that type of player as well.

My reasoning is due to the fact that I've watching almost every game since KD was drafted.

Reggie has just as quick of a first-step as Russ does.

Obviously KD and Russ attack/cut to the rim.

And none of the bigs they have minus Collison whose pretty much out of the rotation pass it well.

It's not a perfect fit like say NY with the Triangle, or Phx, etc, but its not horrible either.

They probably wont get him but it makes sense.

Again, not that I think its likely but one thing to consider when figuring out where Pau is going to go is that he and Ibaka are really close friends from their time playing for the Spanish national team.

Pau would have to take a big time paycut and I doubt he does that but its something to think about. Pau and his agents know exactly what OKC can pay and he is still going to the meeting. That says something to me.
