Crabtree is extremely elusive and has great hands (similar to Boldin). When you finally get a QB with a rocket arm your talents are maximized. Him getting hurt already definitely goes against him but I saw a great player at the end of 2012-2013. Last year I saw a player that was recovering from an injury.

I think he could reach that and maybe even as soon as this year because he IS talented. But I don't really think you can put him with those guys just yet. They've done it more. He hasn't produced like any of them for as long.

If we want to talk about what guys have done so far then I agree 100%.

I'm trying to say is where I think he is currently moving forward. If he didn't get hurt last year he would have a very convincing argument.
 
Not that zito cares, but Crabtree 33 targets and 284 yards, and 19 catches in the regular season. Julio had 60 targets, 580 yards, and 41 catches.

They both played in 5 games. yet one has almost double the targets of the other. Yeah I guess it doesn't matter what type of offenses they play in huh?

I don't give a **** about SF. I don't like Stevie, I watch a lot of Bills games with a buddy that played college football and he has same opinion of Stevie. Crabtree has 1, 1k season.

You guys just whine when people don't commit fallacious when SF is mentioned.

Thats because the 49ers have at worst been the second best team in the NFL the last three years. The players are really freakin good on this roster.

Crabtree had less yards per target, does that make you feel better? And Julio was garnering much more coverage as he had a hobbled Roddy and Tony instead of Boldin on his way to a 1000 yard season and Davis.

Crabtree does own the distinction of coming up just short twic eto end the Niners season.

No. You go out of your way to hate on the 49ers. It's almost comical at this point.

Again you can't base everything off receiving numbers to fairly judge a player. Naturally player "A" should have higher numbers in yards and receptions if his team throws the ball 45 times a game. Compared to player "B" who plays in a run first offense.

You don't know that though. It's certainly possible as soon as this year that he moves there as far as production, but all those guys have done it more and for a much longer time. I don't really put him in their convo yet.

The Ravens failed to make the playoffs last year and the Giants have been bad the last two years.

Seattle should now be considered the best team of the last three years. They have been incredible. 49ers are right behind them though.

Crabtree did fine with Kaep when he was healthy. Are you really going to try and act like an injury is not a legitimate reason why a player did not perform at their highest level?

Dez is definitely better than him. AJ Green and Julio are the guys in the mix for the top 4 with CJ and Dez.
