Wow, surprised they gave up on Caratini so quickly. I suppose someone has to go and he wasn't making any huge strides this year.

We didn't kill lefties when Gattis was out. Plus our bench along BJ hadn't hit them at all. I also disagree that he's useless vs righties. And your boy CJ has been even worse vs righties this year. Plus he doesn't bring the speed nor defense that should be considered too. CJ is a double play machine in fact.

Bonifacio vs RHP this year - .234 .280 .298 .577

So, NO, CJ is not even worse vs righties this year.
 
I like this trade. We gave up literally nothing for something better than what we had. A LOT better? No. But better.
 
So, two questions:

Does this mean that Bonifacio and Russell will be availabe in LA tonight? And does this mean that Jordan and Avilan will be sent to Gwinett tonight?
