Jordan, be ready to run at the crack of the bat
"Chip? Chip?"
Not a strike that whole at-bat. A good manager makes him throw a strike after the replay delay.
Kershaw had every intention on jamming Gattis up and he did just that...Thats what makes him the best in the league...Just gotta do better for your team there
We lead game 1. Two close games. No Heyward where he could've made a difference in all 3 games. Sucks we got swept but nothing to keep our heads down about. Take care of business in San Diego.
Congrats, BJ...just bought yourself the month of August in the leadoff spot
BJ's base running blunder earlier in the game ended up costing us the game.
Suprisingly I'm neither suprised nor disheartened by the sweep. Sweep the padres and were even. Anyone know why we went after Russell instead of Wright?

That was clutch pitching that at bat from Kershaw. That's why he's the best in the business right now.
Yea no Heyward probably cost us at least a game if not more IMO. Hopefully he's back soon and our new additions help out from here on out too.
Want to know the real obvious difference in these two teams?
Dogers payroll: $231m
Braves payroll: $113m
The totals include dead money and injured reserve money...Another mind boggling statistic:
The Dodgers have 7 guys making $15m or more this season
The Braves have 0 guys making $15 m or more this season
The Dodgers have 9 guys making double figure millions
The Braves have 3 guys making double figure millions
People can use the idea that "buying" championships don't work and use the Yanks as an example, but the quality of players these guys have compared to their salary cap is MUCH different than the likes of the Yanks or Redsox...
The Dodgers have paid a $25m luxury tax penalty the past 3 seasons...
