Ferguson....

funniest thing i have seen today

what a cool fantasy world

Personally dealing with the police, you can be calm all you like, but they will make you uncomfortable. I had eight cops drew their weapon me because I had 3 white girls in a car and I went down a one way street going the wrong way and corrected myself and that is when I was pulled over. I did everything the cops said for the fear of being shot multiple times, but when they established I did not have an ounce of alcohol in my body and a Plant DD (designated driver) card and where I worked (Rockwell Collins) is when they decided to be nice. Well, then I went off on them, even the black cop told me to calm down. I threaten all of them and backed it up when their chief had to come and personally apologize to me for their behaviour.

If I am sour on cops it is because of that incident and they will lie to you, try to plant schit on you, but since I have cops in the family I know their little tricks and I told the ladies to record everything (one was a manager, another an executive). I think if I had 3 tramps in there and not work where I work, they would have done something to me or paint me in a bad picture.

Too bad the reason that he is revolting is based on an apparent faulty story.

probably, think about the dynamics.

This is an example of a black person who was unfairly treated by the police? I'm not so sure about that anymore.

Maybe it should serve as a lesson to the youth of America not to be stupid around cops and respect that they don't have an easy job. If this kid would have done so he would still be with us today.

Goldfly is the most amazing poster on here. Provides no content or support for his beliefs; just Eff the Police and join the revolution? When asked about his side of things, he just spins it around and answers with a question, an emoticon, or says some vague crap like "you can't see forest through the trees!"

Not to mention that he has enough money to travel the world so he either is a really successful businessperson (hooray for America) or he inherited a boatload of money and doesn't know what its like to work hard a day in his life.

He, like many other in this thread jumped to conclusions right away because its the narrative they wanted. Now, with all the recent evidence coming to the forefront they realize how foolish they looked.

i have already said you can't see the forest cause of the trees

you just keep proving it

And again, the event that sparked this protest was based on an untruthful story. So while the people are protesting a general idea they would not be on the streets today if they knew what really happened. You can deny that all you want but I know that you know its true.

i don't know how many times i have to say it is a bigger issue than yall are trying to play it as

the system is broken and you keep coming back with questions like this: "Would this protest have occurred if everyone knew all the details immediately?"

yall really can't see the ****ing forest cause of the trees

do yall not understand that cliche or something?

Or maybe its a bigger issue because the black community refuses to acknowledge their role in some of these horrible incidents. I understand that in general blacks are not treated like whites are but a lot of that is their own fault in perpetuating a stereotype. I know you'll call me a racist now just to deflect the real issue (which is what Bill Cosby has said). The black community needs to look in the mirror and realize that they are the same and can get what they want in life. They just have to stop feeding the stereotypes that unfortunately exist.

I think the "black community " wants white men that are removed not only by geography but generations and experience to quit telling them ...
This is the same answer propped by white men when discussing gender inequality.
'
Perhaps it is white men that need a look in the mirror. Or does white privilege trump self examination.

One more thing -- I lived thru the Civil Rights Era. This is not new. When MLK was being hosed for peacefully protesting and there was no action it bred a discontent that we as caucasions do not nor ever will understand.

please quit trotting out Bill Cosby. He too has contributed to the proported sins of "The Black Community"
though he was great in I Spy

I can understand why you would take that angle. I can't put myself in your shoes.

All I know is that I see successful black men everyday. Why them and not others? I don't buy its because the white man has it out for them.

We do not know what was said or done at that time. You already judge the deceased and the cop and based on your comments, guilty for the deceased. I have not done that, was he told using a cuss word to get off the street, was he told to come to the car? Even if he pushed the cops door or not, bringing out a weapon on jaywalking is so far from stupid, I don't know what to tell you.

As for your other comments about respect. Why in the FVCK did I get guns drawn on me going down the wrong way on a one way street? Why did the cop have to call in four other cars? The ladies I was escorting knew the cops were bent on getting drunk drivers but this was excessive. Why did I have to pass the breath analyzer twice, not a ounce an alcohol. Maybe blacks have a second set of rules when pulled over but I see white criminals shoot cops constantly here in Wisconsin, not blacks, GOOGLE IT, especially in our four area counties. Not a single black shot at a cop, all white and we do have blacks here.

Like you.

Like you.

What conclusion have I jumped to. Even at this time I still want to see more evidence come out. Initially I was of the belief that the officer did something very wrong but didn't go overboard like yourself and some others. Now that more information is coming out it seems more likely the cop could have been justified in his actions.

My comment was about the youth of America and didn't pertain to black people specifically.
