Holy crap give me Romo over Ryan anyday
LMAO Ryan. LMAO. Love it man. Homers gonna homer.
Holy crap give me Romo over Ryan anyday
And that's why you fail. Romo isn't bad, but he's not the QB Ryan is. Romo isn't a bum by any stretch, but Ryan is clearly superior to him.
Why, because he has a higher DYAR?
Yes, because it weighs the important things, like scoring, gaining first downs, and so on so forth.
Ryan's DYAR by season same season as Romo
2008 - Ryan 1,012 Romo 713
2009 - Ryan 702 Romo 1,432
2010 - Ryan 1,120 Romo 334
2011 - Ryan 1,118 Romo 1,344
2012 - Ryan 1,196 Romo 1,156
2013 - Ryan 1,124 Romo 839
So that gives us a 6 year sample, and Ryan bested him 4 out of 6 times. Only thing Romo has is his highs are higher, but his lows are lower.
6 weeks into the season it's hard to paint the full picture. For a comparison, in a much healthier sample, the Braves looked really good in late May.
Dallas could easily start derping things up. And I don't mean a good Phillip Rivers type of derping.
Yeezus asked me to post this:
Leaving out that one year where Romo was hurt, Romo wins 5484 to Ryan's 5152. Clearly superior my ass. No one thinks that.
I am as adamant about the Cowboys being an NFC power as I was about the Braves being terrible in May. They won't come down to week 17 with a playoff spot on the line, that much may be wrapped by Thanksgiving or first week December. Ball control offense is a wonderful thing.
Once Aldon Smith and Bowman come back 49ers will dominate so all this talk will be irrelevant!
And if they don't then we can have more fun at your expense
And if Demarco MUrray tears an ACL or Romo gets hurt, things will look different. Or if Romo say starts really derping in up, or any number of other things that can happen. What about the Lions who were 6-3 going into the last few weeks, and I coudl site other ones.
If Murray gets hurt there is Randle, if he gets hurt there is Dunbar, and then there is Va Tech's Ryan Williams. And I am sure Brandon Weeden can hand the ball off and throw the ball well enough. Depth is wonderful.
Yeah that's right. Falcons lack quality depth and that is something that holds a ton of teams back. How much did they end up giving Harry Douglas?
You really want to compare those backups to the Cowboys starters? Murray is on pace to have one of the best seasons of a RB of all time. After busting through 1,100 yards in 14 games, he's well on his way to a potential 2000 yard season. You don't just replace that.
