Ervin might be wise to decline the offer. The market has three very good starting pitchers that headline this free agent class. You know a team is going to want a top flight guy, but miss out on him. They may be willing to throw a ton of money at the next level starting pitcher. Ervin fits that bill in my opinion. Not sure which team, but I could see a 3 year deal worth 48 million.
