Have you guys seen Westbrooks per 36 min averages? Damn....

Maybe he isn't the best "PG" in the league but he is the best player at the PG position and right now looks like the third best player in the league.

Disappointed at the camera angles, brother was disappointed as well when I told him, they could not zoom on him or his son. He said it was a blast for his son (he usually are in the boxes when watching the Fakers or Slippers, but being courtside was a different experience).

He's up there. He's a much better player than he was in the past. I like Curry and Paul more, but he's clearly at least the 3rd best PG.

Wall is at least in the picture for sure now that he can knock down mid range jumpers and you can't ignore at the 3 point line.

I think Wall us better than Paul right now. Wall is a stud.

Well I, unlike you, give credit to a larger sample size performance.

And by the metrics, Paul has still been the point God this year. He's been so far ahead of the pack that even a little regression he's still the best.

John Wall was really fun to watch yesterday though. Definitely in the running for the elite tier of guys.

I'd just realized I've watched an NBA game for more than 2 quarters for the first time in decades, why do I feel so dirty?

I dont care about the past. I care about present performance. Wall is a lock down defender and pentrator at will.

Wall has been better than Paul this year, the numbers prove this.

Wall - 4.5

Paul - 25.6

Wall - 21.3

Simple box score stats

Fg% - 45.8%

Ft% - 75.7%

Paul

Ft% - 88.4%

I like Wall a lot. I think he has the chance to become the point God one day, but it's Chris Paul's belt still. I think people are just bored of him because he's been so good for so long.

As for defense, John Wall is probably the best in the NBA. But Chris Paul isn't far behind.

Defensive Win Shares

Wall - 1.7

Paul - 1.3

Yeah, Paul is still better. Wall is younger and improving so hope he catches him soon.

Again...it's my unscientific opinion but when I watch the two play it feels like Wall dominates the game much more than Paul. I think it's easy to score on Paul when you have a good PG. He's clearly still a great ofee siva player but I think he's taken a huge step back on the other side of the ball.

But you might have watched what? Two or three games of each of them?

Paul by every measure is a lot better than what your eye tells you.
