REAL FOOTBALL Thread

That picture is AFTER Hitchens is pulled by the face mask in to Pettigrew BY PETTIGREW HIMSELF.
It was a piss-poor throw, a face mask and grabbing back-and-forth that pulled the defender into HIMSELF. I've never seen a call announced and then taken away either, no one has. That doesn't mean it wasn't the right call.

That's rich. Pettigrew lightly grabbing his facemask was the reason for DPI, hahahahahha.

So what that it had no effect on the gameplay. The NFL made a rule to protect refs from harassment of players and coaches from the sidelines, if you don't like the rule then so be it.

Here's a quote from Dungy on it.

"To me," Dungy said on "The Dan Patrick Show," Dez Bryant's actions were "worse than the pass-interference call. You can debate the pass-interference call. The helmet rule is plain. And for an official to not have the courage to call that. Dez Bryant is not on the field at the time. He is an offensive player not coming in as a substitute. There is no reason he is out there other than to argue the call with no helmet on. Every official should have thrown a flag at that point. At the very least it should have been another 15-yard penalty. And there is no way you can justify not calling that."

That's a fine opinion to have. The refs used their discretion. I know I know, the league just LOVES Dez and he always gets the benefit of the doubt. LOL.

I'm fine if they didn't make the call for that reason, but they made the call, then changed their mind. Something I've never seen happen. I've seen flags get picked up, but never after an announcement, and it's in the playoffs the biggest stage of them all. Class A ****up.

Yes, making the announcement was a **** up. 100%. It was before they got together. This crew had never worked together. It was poor miscommunication.

League loves Dallas, makes them a ton of money, hard to argue that. Still waiting on your list of players running on the fireld like Dez who haven't been flagged.

Lightly? He pulled it down. There was hand-fighting all the way.
Falcons hahahahahaha

It was light he didn't pull down to release, no excuse. If the LB wanted the call turn his head he would have gotten it. LB ****ed up. Stop blaming pettigrew for his ****up.

And I love this sudden notion that the Cowboys always get calls. For realzz? What world do people live in? They were 8-8 for three straight years, losing every critical game possible, with nothing going their way. The flag was thrown for face guarding. That's it. Not contact PI. Face guarding is not a foul. Picked up flag. The league picked up the flag on Suh's suspension. They so badly wanted the Cowboys to win that they allowed the other team's best player to play after suspending him. Yup.

Show me a list that have?
I don't keep these things logged. I also don't see 100% of games.

No it was fantastic miscommunication, it was piss poor refereeing. Should have never picked it up after making the call and spotting the ball. Wrong thing to do, especially considering going into the game people were already pissed for head of officiating being seen on a party bus with Jerry Jones's son and another executive. Makes it reek of collusion.

No, it's not hard to argue.
Suh played after being suspended.
If what you're saying was true, that suspension is easily upheld with plenty of justification.

If you're a moron, yes.

The fact that you can't even admit to it being PI is a joke.

Even your own players said it was.

Congrats on your "win." The NFL is proud.

Also - quit whining about Suh playing. The fact that he was suspended in the first place was a joke. And if you can't beat us at full strength anyways, then why play? But the Cowboys + the officials + the NFL were too much for Detroit to overcome.

Detroit played like **** in the second half. That's on them. One drive shouldn't have broken them. What happened the quarter and a half before that?
