OKC is clearly making moves to save money.
What if Waiters drives Durant to leave? Lol
How is this good for Cleveland?
They basically swap Waiters for JR, and add Shump?

Roberson and Adams were drafted last year, both start, but yeah he cant draft WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

No, but he'd be in the rotation of get spot minutes if he didnt get hurt, he's exactly what they need as the 4th big."Mitch McGary was projected to go in the second round because of injuries."
Are you surprised he's been hurt? My whole point is that Presti isn't picking the guys he probably would like to. It really does seem ownership is being cheap to avoid even flirting with the tax. Which should be no surprised considering OKC traded Harden just to avoid the luxury tax.

Can you read?
I said three times now that Presti is good at drafting.

I'm really not to sure how this adds to your narrative. If McGary didn't get hurt he would be part of the rotation right now.
My narrative is that OKC seemed to punt their picks last year to avoid the luxury tax by having both of their first rounders in the D League.
You are right that I'm totally speculating with McGary considering he was a huge overdraft, but it's a fact that was their strategy with Huestis.

You also said he has punted the draft the last couple of years.
They got a perimeter defender that they badly need and both Smith and Shump are better players than Waiters

True. I definitely mistook the years.
But I have said multiple times I think Presti drafts well which is entirely the opposite of what heyward is trolling me about.
What team in the NBA is not trying to avoid the tax?
I'm not saying you are wrong since most people felt that way but how was it a "fact" with Huestis? Why not just draft an international player? Wouldn't that have brought much less criticism from the pundits?
Not sure how a guy could go from a easy top 10 pick to an overdraft in the first round the next year.
Players values do not fluctuate that much often. McGary showed very nice abiliy when he was out on the floor. Last year there were rumors that Presti was going to take McGary with the pick they got Adams in if he came out. They LOVE Mitch.
Heat. Lakers. Nets. Knicks. Clippers

Really? Because a big reason why Lebron left the Heat was because they waived Mike Miller to not pay the tax.
Hey look at how great those teams are paying the tax. Thats a great strategy!
Because Huestis came out and said he had a pre draft deal with the Thinder to go to the D League and his agent said they took it because they were unsure he was going to drafted.
Let me find the projection on McGary. I was pretty I read that he was a second round projection.
