Please share how Reggie Jackson has been a "cancer"

All I have to say is watch the games. Guy wants to start and has been a little bitch the whole year as soon as Russ came back.

He isn't driving to the basket as much (his strongest skill) and is going into fall away jumper mode all too much. Also, his most recent comments after being benched in favor of Waiters against Utah said it all.

When he gets to another team and starts he will be really good but right now its not working. Everyone following the Thunder feels the same exact way.

Well, he's better than Waiters........by a lot..........

Seems weird. I guess they know Reggie is gone so they are giving his minutes to Waiters instead? Because Jackson is a better player. (as most guards in the NBA are)

As Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman notes, Jackson is aware of the awkward situation. When asked about Waiters seemingly taking over his job, Jackson responded. "I mean, that’s what everybody’s saying. I’m not here to speculate, though. So if that’s what they do I understand it’s a business. If not, I’m still out here giving it my all."

When asked how he's handling the rumors, Jackson said:

"Probably better than you are. Y’all are bringing it up. I can’t control it. I just go play whenever I’m put on the court. That’s about all I can do, all the control I have. Just go from there. I’m happy (Waiters) did well. I’m happy he made a big shot. I’m just happy we got a win."

WHAT A CANCER!

Jackson is an awful defender and bad fit on the closing team. Waiters is by no means a good defender but the Thunder are legit awful on that side of the ball when Jackson is on the floor.

And how is Waiters any different? He's pretty much terrible at everything except putting up shots

Waiters has already hit one big shot for the Thunder and played better defense in one game against Utah than Reggie has played all year. Lets see how it plays out. Reggie was a huge negative for this team since Russ came back.

I don't know why you posted that article......it doesn't kill Jackson.....it basically said OKC caused this log jam and no one should be surprised that Jackson wants more minutes. Did you actually read this article?

Of course I did. But the logjam was created because of the way Jackson has played. They needed more scoring punch off the bench because Jackson was horrible and inconsistent since Russ came back.

I don't even know why I am debating this with you. You have probably not watched one minute of Thunder basketball this year and you are just going on snippets of articles without any context as to how this has unfolded. Jackson will be really good for someone next year. It just didn't work out with the Thunder.

I actually agree with thethe about Jackson being an issue. (tho I've said thethe has overated Jackson in the past) But, I don't think the answer is to use Dion Waiters (a wannabe JR Smith at best)

It will be interesting to see what the Thunder do. How many more years do they have with Durant? Does that mean they try to win in the next 2 years? If so, they may have to package Jackson and some of the young guys that thethe raves about but haven't worked out for another piece. (you know, because while they need a scorer, they don't need a scorer as good as Harden...heyward logic)

I've heard rumblings that they would package Jackson/Perk/Lamb and take Lopez off the Nets hands. I don't really like the deal but the additional scoring punch from a big man would be helpful and it would allow Adams to develop at a healthy pace without being scrutinized.

Regarding Waiters, they basically got him for nothing. A late first round pick rarely amounts to something. Its possible, especially with Presti making hte picks but in all liklihood its a non-contributor. They have Waiters for next season and hope he can improve.

I don't know what to think with Durant anymore. I thought it was 70-30 Thunder-Wiz but I think its closer to 50/50 now. I like what the Wiz have.

Damn, Wiz just matchup well vs. Bulls. 3 games in 4 days and a back to back win over SA and Chi...terrible spot for the Wiz. Now, if someone can just know off the Hawks, who we don't match up well against.

Nice to see Bazemore being Bazemore. Love the kid.
