Falcons will get the ban hammer and NE will get a fine.

Even though the Falcons havent been that great at home the last 2 years.

Brady came back from a 10 point lead in what 10 minutes? Luck had a whole half.....you want to be included in that group then you can't lay an egg in the playoffs every year. See Peyton Mannings rep before he won a SB, hell, he still gets it.

Speaking of QBs layong eggs un playoffs, how many picks Wilson have?

Quarterbacks make the receivers more than the other way around. Wilsons receiving core would look better with Luck throwing to them and Lucks receiving core would look worse have Wilson throw to them. Its not hard.

Fleener and Allen are better than average TE's. Both are very good pass catchers. And both are significantly better than anything Wilson has had at TE.

Wayne still played well when healthy. Hilton broke out this yr. And Ahmad Bradshaw is a good pass catching RB as well. Luck has plenty of weapons, and certainly better than anything Wilson has.

Not saying Wilson is necessarily better than Luck. But it's unfair to say "put Luck on on the Seahawks and they win just as easily." Wilson overall has played very well in the playoffs. And while he may not have the counting stats in the regular season that Luck does, Wilson has still played excellent in the regular season too. People forget that guys like Brady and Big Ben weren't stat whores at the start of their career either. But they still played well and won when it mattered.

Luck makes Fleener and Allen OK. They aren't very good. And Fleener can't block a lick, which limits his availability. I think Luck makes them both look significantly better. Luke Wilson would look a lot better with Luck.

Baldwin is better than Wayne. Hilton is a beast, but he wouldn't put up the same numbers with Wilson. Ahmad Bradshaw? Stop. They can't run the ball even a little bit. Luck HAS to throw a ton for them to even compete. Wilson can throw 20 times a game and blow a team out because his team is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better all-around. It's not even close. The Seahawks are a WAY more talented team than Indy.

Brady still threw the ball a ton more than Wilson EVER has to. They simply do not rely on him. This isn't even an argument. He is not their MVP by a longshot. Luck IS the Colts. Russ having to throw 40 times a game would be a disaster. That's why when teams score X amount of points (I forget the number) the Seahawks don't win. If Russ needs to throw you back in the game, the Seahawks lose almost every. single. time. Luck constantly has to throw because they can't run the ball and his defense stinks. Russ has one of the best defenses ever and a top-3 RB. He simply doesn't have to do much. How is that an argument?

Could he? I don't know, but he hasn't done it yet. But you know who has?

Who has? The Seahawks, carrying Wilson's ass AGAIN. Like the entire team does all the time. Wilson is good. I like him a lot, all-around. But he can't throw the ball 40 times a game and the Seahawks still win. Doesn't happen. Wilson didn't win that game, he tried HARD to lose it. But his team is so good he can throw FOUR INTERCEPTIONS and still win. Luck doesn't have that luxury. He does some **** like that, his team is sunk. Wilson's team is so good it doesn't really matter what he does. That is not the definition of MVP.

Fun fact, Wilson has never thrown the ball 40 times in a game. He's probably dropped back to pass over 40 times but got sacked or decided to run, but he's never thrown it 40 times. In the playoffs only once has he thrown the ball more than 30 times, in their playoff defeat to Atlanta. Conversely, including playoffs, Luck has thrown the ball 40 times or more 24 of his 54 games, or if you're a fan of reduction math, 4 out of 9, or if you're a fan of percentages 44.4% of the time. So never, vs 44 percent.

TE Ranks for 2014:
Fleener - 9th
Allen - 11th
Wilson - 20th

WR Ranks for 2014:
TY Hilton - 11th
Nicks - 69th
Wayne - 71st
Baldwin - 134th

Is it debatable that Luck is more important to his team? That he has to do more for Indy to win? That's not even an argument. Wilson is like Seattle's 5th or 6th most important player.

Lynch
Wagner
Sherman
Chancellor
Thomas
Probably an o lineman or two
Wilson

He's down there.
Brule, those rankings you just posted: Where does Wilson rank vs. Luck? Every site I look at has Luck clearly higher.

Can we compare offensive lines? Running backs? Defenses?
All of these things matter a lot to the success of a QB, hence why Wilson can get by being just above average, and Luck can't being elite.

Depends what you want to use?

QBR - Luck is 13 and Wilson is 14
DYAR - Luck is 10 and Wilson is 14
DVOA - Luck is 9 and Wilson is 16

Luck also throws it 250 times more a season than Wilson. Both are at 7.7 in Y/A

So he's better in everything.
Why does he throw it so many more times though? Why on EARTH could that be??

Because they have much better WRs and TEs than they do RBs and Luck is a good QB. Wilson also ran for what, 900 yards? That counts, right?

LMAO yea, that's why. Not because Indy can't run the ball a lick, and their defense stinks. It's because their TEs and WRs are sooo good. You don't even believe that.

Your response makes no sense......I said they don't have good RBs.....They have 2 top 10 TEs and a top 10 WR in Hilton, so yeah, that's pretty good. Not sure how this doesn't make sense to you. You think if they had Lynch / Charles / Murray or just a good RB that they would throw it 40 times a game? lol

Thank you. Fleener is not a good TE. By sheer volume he gets numbers, but he does nothing well (including catch).
