Brady came back from a 10 point lead in what 10 minutes? Luck had a whole half.....you want to be included in that group then you can't lay an egg in the playoffs every year. See Peyton Mannings rep before he won a SB, hell, he still gets it.
Fleener and Allen are better than average TE's. Both are very good pass catchers. And both are significantly better than anything Wilson has had at TE.
Wayne still played well when healthy. Hilton broke out this yr. And Ahmad Bradshaw is a good pass catching RB as well. Luck has plenty of weapons, and certainly better than anything Wilson has.
Not saying Wilson is necessarily better than Luck. But it's unfair to say "put Luck on on the Seahawks and they win just as easily." Wilson overall has played very well in the playoffs. And while he may not have the counting stats in the regular season that Luck does, Wilson has still played excellent in the regular season too. People forget that guys like Brady and Big Ben weren't stat whores at the start of their career either. But they still played well and won when it mattered.
Could he? I don't know, but he hasn't done it yet. But you know who has?
Speaking of QBs layong eggs un playoffs, how many picks Wilson have?
Luck makes Fleener and Allen OK. They aren't very good. And Fleener can't block a lick, which limits his availability. I think Luck makes them both look significantly better. Luke Wilson would look a lot better with Luck.
Baldwin is better than Wayne. Hilton is a beast, but he wouldn't put up the same numbers with Wilson. Ahmad Bradshaw? Stop. They can't run the ball even a little bit. Luck HAS to throw a ton for them to even compete. Wilson can throw 20 times a game and blow a team out because his team is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better all-around. It's not even close. The Seahawks are a WAY more talented team than Indy.
Brady still threw the ball a ton more than Wilson EVER has to. They simply do not rely on him. This isn't even an argument. He is not their MVP by a longshot. Luck IS the Colts. Russ having to throw 40 times a game would be a disaster. That's why when teams score X amount of points (I forget the number) the Seahawks don't win. If Russ needs to throw you back in the game, the Seahawks lose almost every. single. time. Luck constantly has to throw because they can't run the ball and his defense stinks. Russ has one of the best defenses ever and a top-3 RB. He simply doesn't have to do much. How is that an argument?
This has to be trolling.
Brule, those rankings you just posted: Where does Wilson rank vs. Luck? Every site I look at has Luck clearly higher.
Depends what you want to use?
QBR - Luck is 13 and Wilson is 14
DYAR - Luck is 10 and Wilson is 14
DVOA - Luck is 9 and Wilson is 16
Luck also throws it 250 times more a season than Wilson. Both are at 7.7 in Y/A
Is it debatable that Luck is more important to his team? That he has to do more for Indy to win? That's not even an argument.
So he's better in everything.
Why does he throw it so many more times though? Why on EARTH could that be??
Because they have much better WRs and TEs than they do RBs and Luck is a good QB. Wilson also ran for what, 900 yards? That counts, right?
LMAO yea, that's why. Not because Indy can't run the ball a lick, and their defense stinks. It's because their TEs and WRs are sooo good. You don't even believe that.
