Nice, easy win for the Bulls, with absolutely nothing one can really glean from it. Except that the All-Star layoff certainly did not do Rose's shooting-rhythm any good.

JPX, what level of confidence do you have in the Bulls right now?

It fluctuates game-to-game, like their play has; but I'd still—in terms of Chicago making serious noise in the playoffs, and at least making and being competitive in the ECF—it's still 80-85% of what it was when they were killing teams in December and early January. More defensive efforts like tonight will do a lot to bolster my confidence, but it sure helps when you're playing a now-Knight-less, currently MCW-less Bucks team that just doesn't have the skilled size to contend with Chicago's front-court.

@Lockedonsports: With Gobert and Favors starting the Jazz have held the Bulls, Blazers and the Spurs to season low points.

The Kantet trade really seems to have been a win-win-win trade for all teams involved.

Gobert needed to play for sure.

Thanks for beating the Spurs last night. Thunder could potentially move up to the 5/6 seed depending on how things break out.

Aside from the dominant wing player rim protection is the most important aspect to have on a team and Gobert is arguably the best rim protector. Thats why I laugh when I get criticized for talking about how important Ibaka is to the Thunder.

Do you think there is a lot of internal drama that is ready to explode at any time. Something seems off about the team. So much talent and yet they don't really feel dominant when you watch.

For those that know (and it may have already been discussed) but where is Millsap come from and what's his situation look like going forward? I read somewhere that Atl didn't expect to retain him a while back but I'd have to think with the group they have now to try and hold onto him is in their best interest.

If you mean contract wise, i would guess he'll cost around 4 years, 48-54 mil or so to retain.

lol not by much, keep sleeping on Klay.

Do you realize how silly you sound?

Milsap earned himself a nice contract coming up. Very nice player on the right teams. Can do pretty much everything well but itsn't great at anything in particular.

I'm a big Klay fan but its silly to compare to Harden. Harden is one of only a handful of guys that you build an offense around. Klay is not in that category.

He's actually a really good fit for the triangle if they keep it.

I think he is a good fit everywhere. Thats why him and Horford worked well together because they can interchange roles. Milsaps little brother is going to be a nice little player as well.
