Chris Johnson's setup at the plate looks a bit different. Hit a sharp ground ball down 3B line for an out.

Didn't care for the signing, don't think he's a great guy to have around. I wouldn't be unhappy to see him go.

I think you could probably do worse than having Callaspo as a multi-purpose bench bat.

WOW. Jenkins just made a HOF hitter look silly. Destroyed his bat on a cut fastball on the 0-1 pith and then had him inbetween on a nasty 12-6 curve in the dirty and couldn't hold his swing.

Damn, that was filthy.

Then just abused Teix after getting Beltran out. Nice stuff out of this kid. Hope he can stay healthy.

Yea, I like that he went back to his old wind-up too, seems more deceptive with it. I am not sure he'll stay a starter but with his stuff and better deception he should at least prove a solid reliever. That is if he can finally stay healthy which is the main question with him.

CJ hasn't gotten a legit hit yet this ST, remember his one hit was really a gift from the infielder rushing a throw wide. If on target CJ is out because he is a slow runner but the rush throw and official scorer gave him a gift.

That said, I guess to be fair I should note that CJ did miss a few games with a sore wrist.

True. I'd rather see him in that role than see him cut, but I have to say I just don't like the dude and don't want to see him handed a starting gig. Still, he's got better OB skills than most of the other IF options, so at least there's that.
