You take any coach in America with that Kentucky team and every single one of them are still playing this weekend.

Eh, that's not fair....Cal isn't the best in game coach but he's good....not every coach can coach all these stars and get them to play as a team. Got to give him credit for doing that. He's getting kids who should be playing 35 MPG and scoring 18 a game and they are playing 18 minutes a game & not complaining a bit.

Sure that's impressive in its own right. I just don't believe for one second that these kids don't have reasons to keep their mouths shut. This all goes back to the type of person he is.

I will say Duke gets at least 14 more free throw attempts.

already whining smh

No just preparing myself for the inevitable. Duke is a great team, but having the referees call a super tight game makes this one even more difficult. They played earlier this year and it was a 16 free throw attempt difference between the two.

Damn, I enroll in Georgetown and Dvauntes Smith-Rivera opts to go pro (stupid decision on his part). I can't believe he would go pro as he probably doesn't even get drafted.

Cal's strength is recruiting and managing personalities. He's a better in-game coach than people give him credit for, but I wouldn't call him a brilliant tactician. He excels at getting the most out of his players and getting them to buy in.. Not at Xs and Os.

He's more Phil Jackson than he is Greg Popovich.

Managing personalities? That's classic. Hey Harrison brothers here's a check for a thousand dollars. Don't speak to the media about your playing time.

You're not a funny troll.

It's not trolling when it's truth.

In seriousness. The entire country knows Cal is a slime ball. He may not straight up pay recruits, but he's as crooked as they come. It takes a one in a kind jerk off to have two final fours vacated at two separate schools. That is tough to do, so kudos to Cal for accomplishing that feat.

I hate when people act like personnel isn't a part of coaching at the college level. Who got those players to Kentucky? Recruiting is absolutely a part of college coaching.

Also, two of those Final Fours were as a 4 seed and an 8 seed.

He's the best recruiter in the game.

I will give him credit for getting these kids to not complain about playing time though.

He's a better coach than some say.

He isnt wrong, Dook hand-checks like crazy and is never called for it.

Dont even need to start on the flopping.

In their game this year, it was 26 FT's for Dook, 10 for MSU.

20 makes to 6.

Dook won by 10, no difference though.

My biggest gripe with college basketball is the officiating. It's so random and every game and sometimes every halve is called completely different. There is just zero consistency. The referees have been announced for the final four games. Not sure which ref is doing what game, but the average number of fouls called per game where each ref has been assigned is something like the mid to upper 30s. This bodes well for everyone except one team.

Kentucky, Dook, and Wisconsin supposedly dont foul much, so it will be interesting how it's called.

UNC makes some dumb fouls, but some of the fouls is the refs out to get them because of the NCAA, im 100% sure of it.

In the UL game in UL, UL could prison rape our team and if we laid a finger on them, it was a foul. Couple players got tackled and nothing was called, it's just insane.
