Around Baseball 2015 Edition

I guess that's relative then. Because if a team gives it to him and multiple teams have the close to the same offer then does he deserve it? I mean you've also said not to pay a player on what he has done instead on what he will do. You'd have to think someone in their late 20's when they get to their prime will play better.

Baseball has insane revenue right now, some team will give him a massive offer because of his potential and defense.

According to some maybe. But there are plenty of teams and front offices that believe in defensive metrics and feel Jason is truly a 5-6 WAR player and will offer him a contract accordingly.

I'm sure he'll paid very well this offseason by some team, whether it's his potential, defense, or whatever.

He's a very good player.

Hope it's an AL team though.

Sunday was not a good day for the Marlins:

Henderson Alvarez is having a MRI on his right elbow, according to sources. Would be major blow to #marlins if damage is found.

ROFLBBQ, Nats imploding again. Desmond now with twice as many errors as the team has wins. Nats botched 2 fly balls in one inning. Desmond just booted another out. Like 7-0 red sox.

Early, obviously, and they'll probably get on a roll at some point.

That rotation is too good for them to keep losing so much, but.

They should have traded one of Fister, Zimmerman, Strasburg for a bat+ prospects.

Having that many great starters is overkill.

NL East is turning into the NFC south. A lot of people picked the Saints to go to the super bowl just like the Nats were world series favorites. Rendon like Minor had a set back while rehabbing so their offense could be in trouble without him.

Are the Nats close to healthy offensively? They will cruise to 90+ wins this year.

Even with their injuries, they still have a better lineup than us, and the other teams, it's not excuse.

They're only missing Span and Rendon.

Werth came back today.

THey're only missing their starting CF and arguably their best position player.

Nationals are sucking onw, but it's baseball. 6 games means literally nothing. For better or for worse.

Nationals will cruise to victory in the division.

Every team has injuries, point being they still have more than enough in their lineup to win.

I agree they win the division with ease.

Especially since their main competition (the Marlins) are off to a far worse start than they.

They should but Zimmerman and Desmond who're usually quite good offensively aren't hitting now and they don't have anyone like Callaspo and Johnson massively overachieving. It looks bad in SSS. But they'll level out and guys will get hot.
