Milledgeville Pharmacist Refuses to Fill Prescription for Miscarriage Patient...

Perhaps the RX thought that the script was fake and refused to fill it?

I know plenty of pharmacists that don't fill scripts if they think it's fishy.

I'm surprised that you would show such literary ignorance. Ms. O'Connor wouldn't be pleased. :-)

Ain't never read'er, to be honest.

Save Williams, Whitman, and Sandburg, most of the (US) Americans I've really made an effort to read were—to some degree at least—of the expatriate ilk; and I suppose Faulkner's scratched the Southern Gothic itch heretofore. Maybe someday.

You haven't lived. ;-)

yeah, they then call the cops if that is the case

I went to college in Milledgeville. Saw Big Ben at another bar that night. The girl had a pretty damn nice car a few weeks later.

Mix of Atlanta kids (students) and rednecks (locals). Pretty fun place overall.

You are missing out.

Faulkner is pretty sleepy in comparison to O'Connor, though. Two completely different representations of the Gothic.

Yeah I think so too. Not a real Faulkner fan myself. O'Connor has a wonderful way of smacking you in the face.
