INJURIES DOE!

Lol.

KD missed 55, Ibaka 18, Russ 15, Adams 12.

I'd just like to see them in the playoffs healthy. Whatever happens happens.

They probably win 60-65 if KD wasn't out basically all year.

Nice troll attempt though.

I'm with you: hard to overcome the reigning MVP not playing most of the season.

Apparently you are supposed to win after you lose the best player on your team. Go figure.

Anyone who is writing the history of Thunder basketball and doesn't talk about injuries would be equivalent to someone writing about its history and not mentioning the James Harden deal.

For starters RW is in the West. If the Thunder were in the East they would have won 50 games and would be a top 4 seed. Secondly, I'm not sure when I said Melo should be carrying scrubs. I just don't believe Melo is a top player like you and GF seem to think he is.

You said OKC was sooooooooooooo deep after those trade and you hyped up Jones/Lamb/Adams/etc.....If RW is a top 5 player and their bench is so good, why couldn't they beat out the Pelicans, who were also ridden with injuries. Serious question

Ibaka was out too who obviously changes the defense. Even still not a huge deal, get a lottery pick in a year even if healthy they probably don't win it all the way GS is this year.

And yeah pretty big difference playing in the West than East.

Russ is a top 5 player but the team is built around KD Russ Ibaka. When 2/3 of them are out, its SOL.

Russ Waiters Singler Collison Kanter Morrow DJ Adams was about all they had. Amazing where they were despite it all.

I don't see how you don't use injuries to this.

What's GS' record if Steph is out 55 games?

Starting out the year 3-12 didn't help the Thunder and nobody came close to the injuries they dealt with this season. I know you'll never give in because thats not in your nature. Everyone who covers the sport acknoweldges it so it won't keep me up at night.

And we will all see just how good this team is next year assuming just normal injury luck next year. They will win anywhere from 60-68 games depending on health.

You do realize that GS is merely average when Curry doesn't play right? Some would even argue they arne't even good without him on the floor.

That's a misnomer.

Curry doesn't play in garbage time when GS clears their bench. Their other main units rated very well even without Curry.

In short stints. You put them out there a majority of the time against other teams best units and they would not make hte playoffs in the West. Curry is that good and why he should be the frontrunner for the MVP. THe impact he has on the floor on the offensive side of the ball is staggering.

I'll remember injuries don't matter if one of you or Giles teams is without its best player for awhile.

Not even best player. If Ibaka doesn't get hurt the Thunder could feasibly be the 7th seed this year. GF/Brule just like being D-bags with the Thunder. Sadly, its getting to the point where it could all crumble by the end of next year if KD doesn't re-sign and the results will prove them to be right but not for hte reasons they have said.

He is obviously great. I'm just correcting your gross exaggeration which was founded in about as much truth as #knicksnation.
