Did I say that or did I say he would out WAR Upton's year this year in the time that Peterson was a Brave? If Freddi decides on playing Peterson he is going to do just fine for us.
He's 6th on the team in AB's

I'm living rent free in that head of yours aren't I?
I don't think you've actually watched any games this year so its not really worth it to argue but anyone that has watched knows (and has said) that Peterson is being dicked around by Freddi so far this year. He has looked much better than his numbers would indicate and just needs to start consistently. You could even speculate that the front office knocked some sense into Freddi and told him to play Jace more now.
Look at the early swing percentages so far this year. Gattis is not chasing as much. Don't you think thats a good sign of improvement? If he learns how to command the strikezone a little better he will be a force. talking about 900+ OPS type of guy with 35-40 homeruns. - thethe
I went to every Met game......watched him in person + 90% of the games on TV.....he's not very good, currently.
Salty DFA'd. The Marlins have historically been uber-cheap and willing to sell prospects to save money. If I'm Hart, I at least look into this situation. For example, we could trade for Salty and agree to pick up the remaining $7m he's owed this year in exchange for prospects, international slot $, etc. The Kimbrel / Upton trade has given us the flexibility to do things like this when it makes sense.

Wow, #Marlins DFA’d Saltalamacchia, who had 2 yrs, $15M due at the start of this season.
Waino officially out for the year, having surgery.
Out 9-12 months, brutal.
Would you consider a Salty for Chris Johnson trade? Just wondering.
From the Braves perspective, I think I'd do it. The dead money on those deals is pretty close. I don't think CJ would fit on the Marlins well enough for it to make sense from their perspective since they're trying to contend.

Looks like Homer Bailey is the next one up for Tommy John Surgery.
Nationals have the second most losses in baseball. Just figured I would share that.
