6/6/15: GDT - Pittsburgh Pirates @ Atlanta Braves (Uribe at 2B)

Lord BABip gumming his bat after that K; wonder if he'll compare tasting-notes with Constanza later.

I hope Julio comes back for the 8th. You knew from the first inning of the game that he was going to pitch well. Glad to see the old Julio.

Call me crazy but I think Ciriaco can be a valuable 25th man on a MLB roster.

Don't disagree but we have to find a way to get him considerably more ABs than he's seeing currently. Same problem we had with Peterson we had earlier in the year.

Nice to see Bethancourt (hopefully) heating up. Would be great for both the Braves' catchers to catch fire: I'd like to see Ne Plus traded by the end of the month, and Bethancourt the everyday guy for the remainder of the year, with Lavarnway backing him up.

Yea, it was very close and seemed in the strikezone but ump seems to be giving low strikes more than high.

Don't get me wrong as I certainly was happy with the call but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at least mildly surprised by it--especially with the way our games have been going lately. To get a hit on the subsequent pitch was a nice bonus.

Maybe it's flukish but i dont understand the rational of trading Maybin.

Maybin is proving my point about how having a speed player in front of Simmons helps cut down on him hitting into DP's. He is partly tied for the league lead because earlier this year he had slow runners getting on and hitting in front of him.
