Love that lineup.

I kind of like it too and it's funny, because if I saw that as the Braves lineup at the start of the season I would've thought it was hilariously bad. The emergence of Maybin makes a huge difference to go along with KJ and Uribe hitting well.

lately around a 50/50 split at catcher. Seems to be working, offensively at least.

I love this lineup too. With the guys hitting well, there reallt isn't a true hole there. Even C-Beth has been good lately, especially at home.

Markakis' lack of power is apparently by design. Says he's not 100% yet, so isn't comfortable swinging for the fences.

It would be nice to see some homeruns, but I wonder if it's almost better if he continues with this approach. Despite 0 homeruns, he has a good shot at 40 doubles.

It's really pretty impressive how well he's done just plinking the ball around.

On the other hand, as good as he's been, that flatlined iso power means that he's always a slump away from being a liability, considering the defense, et al. Still, more, er, power to him.
