Perez is probably still good to go on Monday since he didn't throw a lot of pitches or have too much stress other than the Mayberry at-bat.

Though I wouldn't mind seeing one of the kids in the minors throw Monday night.

Have to assume that was his side session and will be plenty good for Monday. Actually, he will probably head down to the pen now and finish throwing his normal amount of pitches for his side session.

give it a rest, they won the game.....negative people always complaining about something..

He's not a bad poster or always negative, he just doesn't seem to have any faith in Perez. I disagree with him but I respect his right to that opinion of Perez.

Good comeback.

Perez threw 9 pitches and its basically like a bullpen/side session, no big deal.

Please tell me how the two are related in the least bit.

Besides you not giving Perez hardly any credit in either thread? That is pretty much what it looked like to me. How else can one explain you making out using Perez as worse than using Carpenter instead of Kimbrel in the NLDS, etc?

And I completely 100% respect that, and if you remember you look back at my thread, I said from the very beginning that I wasn't discrediting what Williams has done, I just don't think he can continue to put guys on base and them not score. I hope Perez turns into another solid rotation piece for many years to come, but he scares me.
