Isn't it 11M? I thought it was up to 8 or 9 mil per WAR now.
Depends who you ask. I thought it was closer to 7 but I may be wrong. Even if it's on the low side of a 1.5 WAR player contract and we are getitng a little over 2 I don't consider that a bargain. Now the Maybin production? That's a bargain.
I had kinda forgotten how bad pitching can really feel like a gut punch
Brutal. Team is not far away.
Bullpen is the easiest part of a team to improve.

I dunno. I wasn't terribly impressed with our #4 starter today either.
I love this 1-4 in the lineup.
Peterson hitting #1 - .270/.347/.387
Maybin hitting #2 - .329/.386/.392
Freeman hitting #3 - .322/.394/.528
Markakis hitting #4 - .304/.398/.402
With OBP like that its hard not to score.
I get that. He was awful and has been spotty at times as well.
But, as fans we can't lose sight of what this year was supposed to represent. The intention was to be entertaining (which for better or for worse the team is) while allowing the young players to develop for 2016. We need to let Folty throw 30 starts this year. Thats the only way we are goingto knowwhat he is going to be. Glavine/Smoltz were bad when they first came up.
