So why aren't you a Cards fan, again? It's ridiculous that you can't admit that the Heyward trade was a very good trade.
Trades aren't deemed "good" or "bad" after 3 months.

I have to admit. I was a bit premature when I said that I didn't think Heyward was going to get a 150 million dollar contract.
Please stay healthy J Hey. I need you to price yourself out of St. Louis.

He's going to get a big contract. I suspect he ends the season with a WRC+ around 120 with plus plus defense that equals out to a 4-5 WAR player. Cards will likely do their best to retain him imo.
It's ridiculous the amount of people wanting Heyward to fail just so we can 'win' the trade.

I don't want him to fail and never have. But what's the point about posting every homer he hits? That sounds to me like it's someone just trying to show their A$$ and say, look, the Heyward trade sucked after all. There's zero point in a post like that.
You deemed it bad after an hour. You're such a Heyward homer you can't even give it a chance.
Braves will win the trade even if Heyward has a monster season.

There is a world where the Braves extend Heyward and he carries the Braves as their next franchise player the rest of his career. In that world this would be a bad trade.

That's Heyward slash line since May 1

And the thought that people were rooting for him to fail is manufactured by Heyward homers with hurt pride. We never wanted him to fail. But we are happy with the trade. You guys are too sensitive and are assuming things that aren't true.
There's also a world where we sign him in the offseason. There is a world where the Braves extend Heyward and he carries the Braves as their next franchise player the rest of his career. In that world this would be a bad trade.
Heyward is not a franchise player. That's silly. At this point at least.
All I did was post that Heyward hit another homer, bro. Clearly certain people feel the need to rush and jump and post things about the trade....not sure why that is..............
