Around Baseball 2015 Edition

Bryce Harper gets ejected from a game, probably right about the strike call....but man, he's the last person that needs to get ejected in an extra innings game.

Makes me think of the Livan Hernandez/Eric Gregg game. How in the world didn't at least one of our players get ejected? Big game, a strike zone bigger than a continent, yet the highlights I've seen don't show any talk back, just frustration.

Refuse to watch it. The worst-umpired game ever.

Wow, what a finish at Citifield!

Two nights ago tears....tonight...GAME WINNER.

The trade that wasn't made....

This game. and good for the Mets.

Is Flores the Mets version of Prado?

Eric O'Flaherty DFA'd.

---

Oakland was paying him $5.5MM this year.

Another I would bring back for help with the bullpen.

EOF is set to make $5.5 million next year. No way the Braves play that -- but I was thinking the same thing until I read that.

Just saw reported in the Arizona Republic that when the Diamondbacks asked San Diego about Kimbrel, the Padres asked for Goldschimidt in return. Clowns and fools running SD these days.

What's the Braves payroll at?

The Dodgers are paying $85.75MM for eight players no longer with the organization, writes Bill Shaiken of the Los Angeles Times. Hector Olivera‘s $28MM signing bonus is the biggest expenditure on the list. Matt Kemp ($18MM) and Dan Haren ($10MM) round out of the eight figure commitments.

Mets teeing off on Zimmerman, up 5-1 in the 3rd.

3 homers in the inning.

Idk. I still can't stand the Mets and would be just as pleased seeing the Nats get swept in the NLDS. But it would also be glorious to see them miss the postseason.

Harvey, DeGrom and Snydergard in a 5-game series would be ridiculous.
