8/3/2015 GDT: Giants at Braves

That was a season-high four homers by the Braves. That's almost depressing to hear, even in these circumstances.

Considering Jace is not even 2 years younger than Justin... I'd say that's a concern

Age has nothing to do with it. It's all about experience and Jace doesn't even have a full season under his belt so I'm hesitant to make a judgement about him.

Atlanta Braves@Braves
Tonight's game was the biggest #Braves comeback win since 9/2/2012 vs. the #Phillies, when they trailed 7-1 in the 5th before winning 8-7.

Sorry, I could never root for my team to lose, regardless of the circumstances.

Not really rooting for them to lose but at this point in time, it's best for them to get a higher pick, is all.

At this point, I'd rather see Jenkins make a start than endure faulty Folty again.

Have to know if Arody's has the brains to beat the best.

While that's certainly true, it's not good to let him give up the single there and us not score and make him lose confidence in his self. I would want to build his confidence and Pence is no scrub either, so he's still got to "nut up" and make his pitch but I would have made him beat me rather than one of the games best hitters.

I am starting to think Adrian Adonis has some potential as a versatile bench bat next year. How did he only have 3 homers at AAA this year?

No garauntee that pick won't turn out to be Brad Komminsk. Its more important that these guys learn how to win as young as they are And besides we are only eight out

not when it costs us a top 5-10 pick.

Braves have been pretty meh with actually hitting on their first round picks. I am sure this is true for a lot of teams, but the draft pick being in the top whatever doesn't mean anything. It just means more money the cheap ownership won't shell out.

And another thing I hate to disappoint the naysayers with, but if you don't love to see guys like Pierzynski and Gomes as arguably the two most excited guys in the dugout when you win a game like this when you're out of the race you'll never understand how much that rubs off on young players.

That's EXACTLY the reason you want a few "rah-rah" guys around when you're rebuilding.
