I usually follow on Gameday or something, but I got home late from a meeting, turned on the MLB network and saw we were down 6-0. Thinking we were looking at another blowout, I decided to not turn on the computer. Serves me right.

Pierzynski has taken a lot of heat in here this year, but he's done a good job. He may be a pr*ck, but he's our pr*ck. I love beating the Giants.
 
I know this comes too often after good games, but I'm not convinced Jace has reached his peak. I don't see why he couldn't put up some .280-.300 seasons with really good defense. At 2B, that's not bad. He's on pace for over 40 XBH and is still just a rookie.

The fact that he is extremely athletic is promising as well.

Like I've said for awhile now. He shouldn't have been hitting at or near the top of this lineup. I mentioned he should hit 6th a few weeks ago and he finally is. He is our best run producer and kills it with runners on.
 
So we should tell Jace to pretend their are runners on every at bat so he hits better?

Bingo. I've said the same thing. The guy absolutely turns it up with RISP.
