Alright the college football season is now over. Thoughts on the first season with the playoff system?

I think in a sense the playoff system worked. Most important were the extra games that generated ratings, which in turn generated more revenue which was the main goal. The four best teams did not make the playoff and that is a failure on the members who selected the teams. Out of the three playoff games only one was actually close and exciting throughout. That was the Sugar Bowl. Rose and National Championship were duds.

I like it and will like it even more when its 8 games. If you don't finish in the top 8, then I can't see any reason why you would feel like your team would deserve a shot.

TCU looked very pedestrian last night. Minnesota is actually a good team and have been getting better the last couple seasons. And at the very least TCU played a quality opponent on the road unlike the vast majority of schools. :cough SEC :cough

Very concerned with Michigan State. Looked very bleh last night and if they don't get things ironed out, the Ducks are gonna roll them next week.

I think Georgia is gonna be very good this season. This is gonna be there year.
