He wouldn't have died if they took his concern seriously and got him to the hospital when he was struggling with medication. That's not a good sign. Why are the people responsible for caring for him absolved? If someone had a heart attack in jail and there was no response for 3 hours you'd be blaming him on his diet? Not slow response?
They made the CHOICE to be there.
I think you have a fundamental problem about people making bad choices and expecting us to say "it's okay, it's just a boo boo, we or the government will take care of your idiotic mistake"
I might be an asshole, but I choose to not do crime (I committed one and I was thrown out of the house as a teenager and not permitted to come back until I got my schit together, all brains, top 5 in class, and no common sense) and choose not to do drugs and I don't even drink and drive, because you know why, I am smart enough to make wise decision which our maker gave us. Why should I give a flying f*ck when you are stupid ass? I was able to get my stuff together and end up as an Air Traffic Controller and I got my FAA certificate to prove it and then went on to be a top programmer. Because I made a choice in life to not do stupid schit.
Just like an idiot was drunk and decided to walk down the train tracks and play chicken with a train. I bet you would say, well he was disturbed or had family issues. Who is the stupid f*ck to even think of doing that?
People are smart enough to make the right choice in life, if you are too f*cking stupid to decide to do drugs, drink and drive or commit a crime, whatever happens to you is YOUR fault.
So we should have pity or pay for your actions, PERIOD? Stupid, very stupid. Government want to control people for all the wrong reasons.
