Another person dies in jail

He wouldn't have died if they took his concern seriously and got him to the hospital when he was struggling with medication. That's not a good sign. Why are the people responsible for caring for him absolved? If someone had a heart attack in jail and there was no response for 3 hours you'd be blaming him on his diet? Not slow response?

They made the CHOICE to be there.

I think you have a fundamental problem about people making bad choices and expecting us to say "it's okay, it's just a boo boo, we or the government will take care of your idiotic mistake"

I might be an asshole, but I choose to not do crime (I committed one and I was thrown out of the house as a teenager and not permitted to come back until I got my schit together, all brains, top 5 in class, and no common sense) and choose not to do drugs and I don't even drink and drive, because you know why, I am smart enough to make wise decision which our maker gave us. Why should I give a flying f*ck when you are stupid ass? I was able to get my stuff together and end up as an Air Traffic Controller and I got my FAA certificate to prove it and then went on to be a top programmer. Because I made a choice in life to not do stupid schit.

Just like an idiot was drunk and decided to walk down the train tracks and play chicken with a train. I bet you would say, well he was disturbed or had family issues. Who is the stupid f*ck to even think of doing that?

People are smart enough to make the right choice in life, if you are too f*cking stupid to decide to do drugs, drink and drive or commit a crime, whatever happens to you is YOUR fault.

So we should have pity or pay for your actions, PERIOD? Stupid, very stupid. Government want to control people for all the wrong reasons.

And those people made a CHOICE working at a prison. They could have worked anywhere else but they CHOSE to work at the prison and didn't take care of someone. That's the issue. **** everything else involved with this. You have some convoluted mental block of accepting that prisoners are people too.

The rest of your above post is just classic ranting. No relevant points were made.

I think you need to recognize that guards are people to. Isn't it possible that they see similar behavior all the time yet nothing tragic happens? Are we really so naive to think that we have the best and brightest working as jail guards?

This poor guy dies in jail in intense agony while Lamar Odom gets the best medical attention money can buy and is treated like a hero.

Last I checked, Odom did not a commit a crime.

Well if you say marrying a Kardashian, or if you didn't turn to stone when you see Caitlyn Jenner is a crime, I agree.

Put it this way: they treated him and then he do the same thing. They treated him and he does the same thing again and again.

I have to pay for it. Why do I have to keep paying for it. Let the liberals pay for it, but you know what, they don't want to, never have, never will, they want the RICH to pay for it. They do all the crimes all the crap we have in our country but yet want the RICH to take care of it. Why can't an individual be responsible for their own actions and yet the RICH have to take care of it.

Why don't you volunteer at a jail or prison facility and teach these men to be responsible.

What you mean is he wasn't charged with a crime. Reports were he was mixing cocaine and large does of herbal viagra, whatever that is.

I think Odom and the dude that died in jail should be getting the same level of care.

ummmm. no. Unless you want to volunteer and pay for it.

Do you not think Odom will get a substantial bill and pay for it?

Why should I or anyone else pay for a criminal. The criminal did CRIMES AGAINST OTHER PEOPLE.

The people that were hurt, do you think they like paying for his care? Do you think they would, well have issues I forgive you? No one care for my cousin getting gunned down in a drug transaction. No one cared for my aunt who had a crack overdose. No one cared that my uncle died from a heroin overdose. Because he died jail this is a story. They chose that life, we tried to help but blacks are not as forgiving as whites when you make stupid mistakes because as my dad said, you make the choice you suffer the consequences, be it jail or six feet under. He is a hardcore Democrat and he thinks like that. He has no pity for those in jail or on drugs, none, whatsoever. It is their choice he says and you should only ask to help and if they don't want it, grow thick skin to ignore it. Many times in our big family we tried to help and if they tell you to eff off, you eff off and when they die, they get a pine box and buried.

Best advice a dad can give. You make choices in life, good or bad, it is on YOU. He threw me out because I made a bad choice, it made me a better person in the end and understand the TOUGH LOVE of parenting.

8 dollars to my name and on the street and he told the family that no one to take me in. I need to learn a lesson about life and decisions.
