It's OVER 5,000!
Re Norris: Well, yeah, but at least we signed him for the even year, right?
Hopefully so.

Ehh. Wisler looks like he is hitting the next level. Finished strong last year and has looked fantastic in Spring. Norris should be a serviceable 3rd starter and Chacin will be solid if unspectacular. Not that bad

Starting pitching in the upper minors will be strong. Some of that will seep into the major league rotation over the course of the season.I actually like Chacin and Wisler. Basically I feel like bitching 'cause there are major elements of this team that are...suckulent.
Welp. Might be prudent to scan the options in the SP market next couple days.
Yeah, where's our old friend Aaron Harang these days? Besides the buffet line.
He's going for the reverse Samson effect.Markakis with his first hits in a while. I think he should grow his beard back.
don't degrade me. LolYou're in serious contention for the new thethe
don't degrade me. Lol
what % of hits off Folty are HRs.....in real MLB games? Like 15%?
I have my doubts about Norris getting back to his former levels of success and while I agree with you on Chacin it seems the Braves brass doesn't as it's sounding like Wandy part 2 with him. IOW, they are talking like he won't even be in the opening day rotation.
I haven't gotten that vibe... I think Chacin will easily make the opening day rotation.
Am I the only one who forgot about Jason Hursch?
Since it's such a slow afternoon I caught myself wondering whether Folty's outing landed Gant at least a start or two. Whatever he was working on yesterday obviously needs more than one AAA start worth of work.
maybe.. but I think it will now be Julio/Norris/Wisler/Chacin/Perez as our 5..
