Yeah this is a good point and one that I didn't see addressed yet. Did they specifically and in advance book a private trip? Surely those aren't handled or considered the same way. When I made my comments I assumed they were all just there, open for anyone/everyone and while I don't know the correct answer to this question it would seem to matter, at least to me.

If it's a chartered event it can legally be limited to those of a certain group. I guess I am not familiar with this particular event and although I know a number of lesbians and am comfortable around them, I doubt very much that I would enjoy being on a cruise with them. Nor would they enjoy having me around.

And that's the biggest problem with society today in my view. I don't know why a baker wouldn't bake a cake for someone, but if there's another baker in town who doesn't care who he bakes a cake for, one would think that the couple would employ the latter instead of pestering the former. And if it stopped at wedding cakes, it would be one thing, but everyone is so easily offended these days.
That said, I believe in the public arena there has to be assurance of basic rights.

What if it's the only bakery in town? Or the most convenient bakery on your side of town and you don't have time to make other plans? Just imagine how inconvenient a person's life could become if refused service a couple of times a day running regular errands.
It's so sad this it's the so called "Christians" proving to be the least Christian of all.

To me, it's all going to depend on which errands. I can understand--although not agree with--a decision by someone involved with a ceremony often defined by religious rites to not provide an isolated service, like a wedding cake or wedding photography. Now, if it's shopping at a grocery store or eating in a restaurant, that's a different level for me.

Renew your passport before it expires
Did you know that this year marks the 10th anniversary of when passports became mandatory for U.S. citizens traveling between the United States and Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean? As passports are valid for ten years, the U.S. State Department foresees a surge in passport applications and renewal requests this year, taking upwards of 16 weeks to process. Given that passports must be valid for up to six months at the time of arrival to your travel destination, it is important to renew early, especially if you’re headed on one of our trips to Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa, the Caribbean, Baja, California or Punta Cana.

Olivia + L Fest = Proud Partners
We have recently partnered with L Fest, the UK’s only lesbian festival! It falls just after our Dublin to Edinburgh Cruise, so stay a bit longer and meet a whole festival full of British lesbians. The three-day music, arts and comedy festival is held in Staffordshire (the central UK) from July 15-18th and is expecting 2,000 women in its 6th year. It attracts a wide audience with something for everyone, with European artists and DJs performing over the whole weekend. They have announced platinum-selling artists Heather Peace and Saffron from Republica who’ve sold millions of records worldwide. To find out more about the festival, click here.

Olivia’s beloved comedian, Vickie Shaw, is turning 60! My wife does not tolerate gays at all but she will do their pictures but she will tell them upfront she is not going to put time into it and they ask why and she tell them. She said it is uncomfortable to do it but they get the unedited shots. Well, about 90% want her pics because she is the best. She said no kissing or PDA in her pics and they have to sign the contract in stating so and they do. I believe in having to give anyone service regardless if they are Muslim, Gay, Trans or KKK, but don't expect me to give you my best and she is like that (I had to force her to do gay pictures, but I said you don't have to put time into it). I know a few restaurants in town that have done it to me. Reason why I don't go back to them and not cry to the media that they were being mean to me.
