He cannot throw strikes so let's swing at everything, lol. Well at least AJP got hit where he couldn't chase another one way outside.

Gant threw three curves that last AB, one for a called strike, one a foul for a strike and also one outside for a ball.
Now second AB just got a strikeout on another curve.

He didn't throw it last inning, but did a lot this inning. So now we're getting to see all his pitches like when he starts.

Hanigan is really struggling to catch Wright. We need to make him throw some strikes.

AJP catching makes close pitches look so much worse, if Flowers is catching some close are strikes just by his framing job.
Pitch framing stats are real. Sad that the Braves are once again behind the times when it comes to this.
At the risk of repeating what many others have already said--"awful" would be an improvement over the @#$% that is the 2016 Braves.

Haha, yea we started 5-0 last year and had a pretty good first half given the manager, team, etc. Now we're at worst in franchise history tying and about to break the record, so historically bad for any Braves team. Which leaves Coppy and co. with egg on their face after all the stuff they said about being better, etc. What scares me is that it seems they are and plan to continue reacting crazy to it. Like they may rush Albies or Swanson to Majors just to save face. That is bad bad if true as DOB said.

Good. Some of the decisions they have made are a complete joke. Now whether this team is 4-17 or 8-13 doesn't really matter. I expected this team to be bad because there just isn't a lot of talent on it. But some of the choices they made like bringing back AJP and the Olivera trade shows a lack of judging talent and looking at predictive stats. AJP for example is one of the worst pitching framing catchers in baseball. Yet we let him handle the pitching staff and wonder why ERA's start to balloon. These are small issues right now because we are rebuilding and who cares right? Well if that same thought process carries over to when the young guys come up then things can get bad quickly.
